Period 1 and 2
We had our second map test today, without our maps to help! You can see your scores in Family Access. After our tests, we finished reading "The Great Rat Hunt" and analyzed the chronology of the story, talking about sequencing.
Period 3 - We finished reading the "Great Rat Hunt" in our Lit. Books, took a reading comprehension quiz, and wrote a short recollection of a scary, funny or interesting encounter we had with an animal. We received our new vocabulary for next week, practiced the words to make sure we knew the correct pronounciations, and worked in our table groups to find the definitions.
Periods 5 and 6 - We took our first content area Social Studies test over the first 2 chapters of our book; we corrected it in class and discussed the answers. Mrs. H will correct the essay question and post the grades early next week. We passed in all of our notes from Chapters 1-2; we made Clock Buddy appointments which we will use next week in class.
