Block I
For Social Studies, answer questions 2,3 and the first bullet point under questions #4 on page 568. For Language Arts - think about topic selection for your CBA; bring your permission slip for your lit Lit Circle book by tomorrow REMEMBER! You have 1000 pages of Independent Reading that you need to complete this trimester. You may not count the pages in your Lit Circle books as this book is considered required reading.
Period 3 -
We finished our scored discussions today! Remember that you have 100 pages of independent reading to complete before the end of Trimester 3!
Block 3 -

We read Chapters 31 and 32 in Tom Sawyer; please complete if you were absent today. We peer edited a second Unit focus question in class - all five UFQs are due next Tuesday, April 24th. We will begin our scored discussions next Tuesday and continue through next Friday. We also voted for our Lit Circle books - you will receive a parent permission slip tomorrow for one of the books you selected.

We completed reading Chapters 27, 28 and 29 in Tom Sawyer. For tonight, please complete the handout on "Mood and Setting" that you began in your table groups during class. For Wednesday, your second UFQ is due at the beginning of class. All Unit Focus Questions are due NEXT TUESDAY! Block I
Westward Expansion Project - due tomorrow! There will be a quiz over the information on your maps/paragraphs - you WILL be able to use the maps and paragraphs you created to answer the questions on the quiz. Make sure you bring everything to class with you tomorrow.
The one Unit Focus Question from Tom Sawyer is DUE FRIDAY! This is a change - I extended the due date. If you will not be in school on Friday, you MUST email the Unit Focus Question (remember, only ONE of the five questions is due Friday) Thursday evening or Friday.

Band Kids - Complete reading Tom Sawyer Chapter 20 and 21. Write (or draw) a brief summary of the students' prank on the teacher. (The rest of you already did this - if you didn't, you can complete it and turn it in for half credit, unless you had an excused absence.
