September 1

Block I

We received a Timeline Planning Sheet and discussed the requirements for that assibnment; all timelines are due on Wednesday, September 7th. We wrote a page about what we know about US History. Mrs. Henderson will save these papers and we will get them back in June to see what we learned this year. We checked out our Social Studies textbooks and began working on identifying states and geographic features. There will be a test next Friday (September 9). Finally, we listened to a short story in class, then analyzed it in our small groups. We discussed context clues and foreshadowing.
