Block I
We analyzed our advertisements as to their persuasive techniques; we also determined which persuasive techniques would be most appropriate for our research topics. In SOcial Studies, we began creating a visual of the Civil War - the map will be due on Monday, May 2. For your CBA (Research Paper); your first two paragraphs (the Intro and the Background Paragraph) are due on Tuesday. For tomorrow; make sure you have read the required pages for your LitCircle groups!
Period 3
We continued with our unit on Persuasion. We analyzed a short story in our lit books, and then concentrated on comparing two different views on animals/zoos.
We will complete the analysis in class tomorrow. For Orchestra and Choir members; keep up with your LitCircle reading requirements. Next LitCircle meeting will be on Monday!
Block II
We analyzed two writing pieces as to their persuasive techniques and we began creating battle maps of the Civil War. The maps are due on Monday!
