Block I
We began our independent reading program today - most of you had your books in class! Remember to bring your books daily from now on. We discussed "Big Questions" from our Lit Book (pages 2 -3) and related them to our own reading books. We also began analyzing "What makes a good story". To be continued.....In Social Studies, we researched Native American Culture groups in our small groups and analyzed impact of environment on food and housing...No homework tonight except reading/finding books.

Social Studies today was an overview of European History, from 300AD to 1500 AD. We will finish that up in class tomorrow. No homework tonight except reading/finding books.
