Block I
We completed viewing "Glory" and completed filling out our video guides and reflections. We analyzed the "Gettysburg Address" and discussed why that speech is so important.
Period 3
We worked in the lab on MLA formatting and imbedding facts in our essays. Paragraphs 5 and 6 are due tomorrow, with peer revision scheduled for Friday.
Block II
We wrote reflections on the movie, Glory; due tomorrow - the reflection, if you didn't finish in class, and questions 1,2,3 and 4 on page 605 in your Social Studies book. Also, complete paragraphs 5 and 6 and bring your sources with you to the lab tomorrow. Our focus will be MLA formatting and in-text parenthetical citations.
