Period 1 - 2
We practiced vocab sentences for words 41-49; We read Tom Sawyer Chapter 29 and completed questions for Chapter 11.4 in our Social Studies book.
Period 3 -We read Tom Sawyer Chapter 28 and 29. We reviewed vocab words 50-59 - the quiz will be this Friday. We also discussed moral dilemmas in small groups and shared with the class at the end of the period.
Period 5 - 6
We read Chapters 28 and 29 in Tom Sawyer, discussed the Unit Focus Questions and the upcoming scored discussion, and began studying vocab words 50 - 59.
Homework for tonight: Complete the vocab sentences for words 50-59. Remember to leave a blank for the vocab word in your sentence and provide a key on the back of your paper. For Social Studies, complete questions 1,2 and 3 on page 355.
