Block 1
We read a short story from our Lit books: "The Monkey' Paw". We discussed superstitions and foreshadowing and practiced reading fluency.
We copied the new vocabulary list from the white board -- if you were absent, make sure to copy the list tomorrow. We defined the first five words and will go over those in class tomorrow.
For Social Studies, we collected data about 9 reasons for Colonial Unrest. Tomorrow we will determine which of those reasons were the most important.

For tomorrow; complete the questions about BFranklin on page 145, complete the handout I gave you in class (I will give you the answers to Part 3!) and finish reading Chapter 4 in The Light in the Forest.
